The Law of Moses

Post Categories

The Law of Moses is divided into the following classifications: the Decalogue (Ten Commandments), the Book of the Covenant, the Priestly Code, the law of Holiness, and the Deuteronic Code.

The law of Moses was given in view of transgressions and promulgated by angels, at the hands of a man acting as a go between; in that aspect, it was to be valid only until that decedent or offspring came to whom the promise had been given. Now that Christ has come, there can be no man acting as a mediator when only one person is involved, Jesus who is God.

No one is put right with God by doing what the law of Moses requires. ( Gal. 2: 16 ) If a person is put right with God through the law of Moses, it means that Christ died for nothing. Gal. 2:21 ) The life we Christians live is not one by the old system of Law, but it is one whereby we refuse to reject the grace of God. If we sin, can the Law of Moses save us? It cannot! Christ has come. And Christ is our only means of being put right with God. Only faith in Him will save us.

This is not to say then that there is no law to be obeyed or that the Decalogue was done away with. By God’s grace we live obeying the new law of Christ. Christ not only accepted the Ten Commandments as the basis of His teaching but promised to carry them to completion. Though we are not saved by the Law of Moses, and we do not live by the old system of the law, yet we must obey the Ten Commandments. Not only must we obey them, but even more so now that we are in Christ.

Again, the new law of Christ has not done away with the statutes and ordinances God gave us in the old Law of Moses.

Certain men came on to the scene and twisted the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Law of Moses. Many men of God today have then followed their lead. And now many Christians are standing in the mist of Satan who blinds them to the true Christian walk.

I have not commissioned myself. Nor am I sent by any other man. God has commissioned me to call for right thinking and acting.

There is to be refining and purifying in the House of God. There is to be lamentation and repentance in the House of God. Due sacrifice is to be given to the Lord by the remnant of God. There is to be no profane worship given. The truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and of the Law of Moses is to be restored to all God’s people and to all the world who have hearts and minds open to God.

“Remember the law of Moses My servant, which I enjoined him on Horeb, The statutes and ordinances for all Israel. Lo, I will send you Elijah, the prophet, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and terrible day, To turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the land with doom.” (Malachi 3:23-24)

The gospel of Jesus Christ is made more compelling than the law of Moses. It is a compulsion of love (Gal. 5:6) . And whereas the old Law of Moses bound only the Jews, the gospel of Jesus Christ binds all men. It is more demanding than the old Law of Moses, not less. All the New Testament speaks this.

Here is an example of the new law of Christ being more demanding: “ Make the following rules about widows, so that no one may incur blame. If anyone does not provide for his own relatives and especially for members of his immediate family he has denied the faith; he is worse than an unbeliever.” ( 1 Timothy 5: 7-8 ) Yet, what you hear out of the mouths of most men of God is something very different. Not only is it false, but much responsible for the terrible state we are in.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is always challenging us to greater effort and response in faith, always propelling us beyond ourselves. While it is true that we are not subject to the Law of Moses, we are subject to something infinitely greater, the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who leads us. That is, if we are truly in Christ. We live, not by laws, but by God. And when we do this, we fulfill the law of Christ. By the Holy Spirit we live and we fulfill the law of Christ. ( Gal. 6: 1-2 ) Make no mistake about it, the Holy Spirit has given us life; He must also control our lives.

The rebels in Christendom can be heard shouting their rebel cry, “ We are free and no evil shall befall us.” We are called by Christ to live in freedom. But not a freedom that gives free reign to the flesh. ( Gal. 5:13)

The faithful followers of Christ live in accord with the Holy Spirit. If you are in accord with the Holy Spirit then you do not yield to the cravings of the flesh. Being in accord with God you hold true to that which is written in your heart by God. You do not break the commandments of God.

If you are full of faith and the Holy Spirit, you know very well what proceeds from the flesh: such things as lewd conduct, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, theft, gluttony, hostilities, bickering, jealousy, outbursts of rage, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, contraception, abortion and other murder, fornication, sodomy, lying, prideful boasting and other grave sinful acts.

God has not failed to make it known in His Word to all who are sincere about their love for Him how they must not commit terrible acts. Nor does He fail to convict anyone who He has come to dwell in should they commit any such terrible acts. Perhaps you are fooled. Perhaps you are among the many in Christendom following after the counterfeit spirit posing as the Holy Spirit. If you are, then you are in need of rescuing. Embrace the hand of God reaching down to pluck you from the tidal wave of wrong thinking. Do not push aside the hand of God to do so.

There is God’s rebuke, and you have no excuse for remaining in the harlot Church. Prayerfully read the Word of God. Prayerfully heed a true word from God. For God is not silent. Not in His Word, nor is He without His witnesses in this day.

No one has any excuse for following after this evil spirit. Nor for being so in love with the doctrines of this false spirit, such as the false doctrine of eternal security.( 2 Tim. 4:3-4 )

Moreover, no one has any excuse for committing any grave sin and thinking his or her self saved in Christ. Our call to holiness and from immorality couldn’t be made more clear. It could not be made more clear how one who rejects true doctrine concerning this rejects the Holy Spirit. ( 1 Thess. 4:7-8 ) And the truth of it in the Word of God is right now being confirmed.

The unholy will not fall heir to the kingdom of God. ( 1 Cor. 6: 9 ) All of us have been warned that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. ( Gal. 5: 16-21) And all of us are yet again being warned. Make no mistake about it, no one makes a fool of God! ( Gal. 6: 7-9)

Misfortune awaits all who shall go on defending what is from hell and who go on compromising with wickedness and with depravity. Defend abortion, defend sodomy and same sex marriage, for example, and you shall have eternal existence with the one who moved you to do so, Satan. Afflicted with woe shall be those who argue against God and His rebuke.

A prideful life of living in the name of Christ will have you in the eternal pain of hell and not in heaven. The soul is a mirror to which God sends the truths of faith, but their light cannot be received or reflected if the soul is darkened by vice (sin). Dread to all Christians who blaspheme the Holy Spirit!

Live as a Christian who welcomes the truths of faith from God. Live as a Christian inspired by the Holy Spirit and showing love and not contempt of His gifts. Be a Christian who goes on in the fruit of the Holy Spirit and not in the fruit of the flesh.

Love, joy, peace, patient endurance, kindness, generosity, faith, mildness, and chastity, against such there is no law!

Blessed are all in the House of the Lord who have repentive hearts! Blessed are all in the House of God who do not reject their call to holiness but accept the true Jesus Christ!

It was for liberty Christ freed us. Our conscience is freed from the Mosaic Law as a principle of man’s justice before God. Jesus Christ is our salvation. However, being in Jesus Christ, who is our only salvation, always means keeping God’s commandments and doing what is pleasing in God’s sight. Eternal life in Jesus Christ is man’s free will co-operating with God’s grace and not resisting it. Eternal life in Jesus Christ is doing His and our Father’s will and not our own will or the will of another mortal or of the devil.

It will not go well for those on judgment day who remain captive to the empty bombast being spoken so readily throughout all Christendom. As the outcry against that which is worthy of all honor (the Decalogue) continues, be with the Spirit of Truth who is upholding the worthiness of the Decalogue.

In the New Testament Jesus accepted the Ten Commandments as the basis of His teachings and promised to carry them to completion. ( Matt. 5:18 ) Always, Jesus kept His Father’s commandments. ( John 15:10 ) What if He hadn’t? Always, Jesus did what was pleasing in His Father’s sight. ( John 8:29 ) Always, we are to imitate Him.

I heard on the radio a preacher preaching such nonsense about how we are not to imitate Christ. He gave a very polished argument against it. But it was based on wrong interpretations of the truth and showed a love of what is false to God. Be careful. Again, always we are to imitate Jesus.

One of the things that St. Paul was telling us is that the law was given to be a monitor until justification came in Christ. ( Gal. 3:24) He was telling us that now the function of the law is not needed in the same way because we are made new interiorly and able to use our freedom in a good way, by the life of the Holy Spirit within us. Never did he tell us that we need not obey the commandments of God and a whole lot of other terrible things being said by men of God today.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the way God gives us to live free from sin, a freedom the law could not attain. We now have all the power we need not to commit sin. We have, to keep us from sin , not only the grace of God , but the grace giver Himself living in us. But make no mistake about it, we are free of the sinful flesh insofar as we walk in the Holy Spirit. To walk by the Holy Spirit means to let our conduct be directed by the Holy Spirit. The way of the Holy Spirit is the way of freedom. If we are in Christ, then we are of His Spirit, then we obey God’s commandments, we love one another, for no external law can compel us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Such love comes only from the heart and only through the work of the Holy Spirit.

“ And this hope will not leave us disappointed because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” ( Romans 5:5 )

Reject the commandments of God and you reject the Holy Spirit. You are not of God’s stock. You are not of God’s Spirit. If you are of the Holy Spirit, then you reject not the commandments of God but what Satan calls for and the allurement of the flesh.

We are not to be alarmed that there are still the tendencies of the flesh in us. But we must live by God who lives in us and not by those tendencies. We must live by the power of God in us. But always we have God’s gift of free will to do as we ourselves choose. We are not made like robots when we give ourselves to Christ, when we have God living in us. We can choose sin over God. But if we do, then God cannot dwell in us. For God cannot dwell in a temple defiled.

It is a tragedy that so many of Christendom have bought into the lies and have given themselves over to the great apostasy. It has hurt the whole world. But God’s remnant will realize, like in the past with those men who failed to perceive that salvation lies in the cross of Christ, not in food regulations or circumcision, not on their own efforts to observe the law but solely on Christ, that they go about today in another way which shows them to be enemies of the cross of Christ and not to be like them.

We are not pleasing to God because of independent accomplishments or legal observances but because God freely adopts us as His children. But that relationship we have as his children calls for obedience! ( John 8: 34-35, Romans 6:16-17, Heb.4:1, Heb.5:8-9, John 3:30, John 14:31, Luke 9;23-27, Romans 1:5, 1 John 2: 28-29, 1 John 3, 1 John 5:1-3 ) See also the Book of Revelation and know that with all who in any way make themselves enemies of the cross of Christ these words hold true: “Such as these will end up in disaster!” ( Phil. 3:19 )

You men of God making yourselves enemies of the cross, you dare point to the world as lost? Many of us Christians are just like those outside who are the dogs and sorcerers, the fornicators and murderers, the idol worshipers and all others who love falsehood. ( Rev. 22:15)

It is not the lest but the most in Christendom at the moment who, rather than wash their robes so as to have real free access to the tree of life and enter the city through its gates, prefer to go on believing the lies that say they can disobey God’s commandments, do evil works, and remain saved in Christ. These Christians are far worse sinners than those in the world doing the very same things.

True, Christ cannot be formed in us by circumcision and legalism of any kind. It only will come about through the cross of Jesus Christ, by the work of the Holy Spirit. But if the Holy Spirit is in you, then you obey the Ten Commandments and the laws of the Church.

You obey the Decalogue and the laws of the Church, and you do good works, not because you perceive that in doing them there is your salvation. You know that it is through the cross of Jesus Christ, who was fully God and fully man, that you have been reconciled to God. You obey the Ten Commandments and the laws of the Church because you are truly of His Spirit. Being of His Spirit you do not act sinfully but act in holiness. You do this because you truly love God. You do this because you have a faith that is alive and not dead!( 1 John 5:3, James 2:14-26 ) You do this because it is God’s will!

If you don’t obey the Decalogue and the laws of the Church and do good works you don’t remain in Christ. (1 John3:6)The man who sins belongs to the devil and not God. He or she is doing the devil’s works. (1 John 3:8)

It is not a matter of legalism as many men of God today would have it. It is a matter of morality and holiness. It is a matter of proof of your love of God. (1 John 3:10)

The evil one spews forth from his mouth a lava of lies and confusion using the term “ legalism”. At the same time his smoke fills the Church with a cloud of lies and confusion concerning the virtue of religion. It is proof of the fierceness of his attack and of the hardness of hearts among the people of God.

The extent of the rebellion in the House of God is so very great. The Harlot Church is now greater that the true Church of Christ. Yet, any outcry against it barely spoken. Those who are called as the conscience of the Church must be obedient to the Lord. Though you will suffer at the hands of your own people for telling the truth, it is not you who will suffer in the next world.

Is it that bad? It is, as I have said all along, as I have it from the Lord with His tears streaming down.

You, who prefer not to hear and heed the truth, who prefer like the Pharisees a false love, a false justice, a false eternal security, a lack of interior holiness, who prefer the lies over God’s correction, who prefer the counterfeit spirit to the Holy Spirit, by your own doing you will suffer exclusion from the kingdom of God.

You will not have it, you many men of God who, by your preaching, and lack of it in many regards, are expecting God to give His approval to the abominations of His people.

There is mercy for the sinner. But God’s mercy is for those sinners who turn away from sin to Him. There is no mercy for those sinners turning from God to sin, who say they are with God while in sin. There is only torture day and night.

Men of God must cherish and foster true love. God is love. Do not offend Love. Hear God’s voice. And do not hate what you hear.

All who Moses led out of Egypt revolted when they heard the voice of God. To those men of God trying to force their wills on the will of God take heed: Better to heed God’s rebuke then to make it out to be a lie. Better to obey God in His restoration then to force your opinion on His people at variance with the Holy Spirit.

The Word of God has been, and is being, raped by men joying in pernicious heresies and in making the true way subject to contempt. Sadly, as God is taking action to rescue them, and all who will hear and heed Him, what He finds is that even many of His most anointed are wanting the devil’s enticement instead.

Be warned: There is a running away from God in this hour by many men of God, even by most anointed men of God. They run from humility in Christ, from a stripping away of all that is filthy, from an abiding by the law of Christ. Much of the preaching in this regard is but a delusion or a facade. There is a misleading of, a confusing of, a holy people.

“ Anyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus can expect to be persecuted.” ( 2 Tim. 3:12 )

It is men of God, teachers of the faith, who will persecute you in this hour. For these are terrible times and there is evil in God’s House. There are many evil men and charlatans who are leaders in the Body of Christ. There are men of God who will go from bad to worse, deceiving others to the very end, themselves deceived. They are winning over many of the good men of God in error.

But for those of you who are truly bent on Christ Jesus, the stupidity of it all will become more and more known to you. My prayer is that you will take notice before it is too late. Heed the Holy Spirit who is here for you and all of us!

I say it again: In His own flesh Jesus did abolish the Mosaic covenant-law, uniting Jew and Gentile into a single religious community imbued with the same Holy Spirit and worshiping the same Father. ( Eph. 2:1-22 ) However, this is not to say that He abolished the law and the prophets, or that the law is abolished by Christ. In fact the law is confirmed by Christ.( Romans 3:31) Not only is it not done away with but obedience to it is even illumined more by Christ to secure salvation in Him. Anyone who disregards God’s commandments does not have true interior love of God and they will be excluded from His kingdom. And anyone who disregards even the slightest detail of the law shall be called least in the kingdom of God. ( Matt. 5: 17-20)

There is no contradiction in the Word of God. There is only truth. Those who want the contradiction nevertheless will have it. Those who want the truth will have it.

Liberty for the Christian whether once Jew or Gentile means liberation from sin, and a freedom from the law under the Old Testament but not without a must obedience to the law of the message of Christ which in fact fulfills the law of the Old Testament. Christ is the end of the Mosaic covenant-law, but again, the gospel of Jesus Christ is made more compelling than the law of the Old Testament.

“You have heard the commandment imposed on your forefathers, ‘ You shall not commit murder, every murderer shall be liable to judgment.’ What I say to you is: everyone who grows angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment: any man who uses abusive language toward his brother shall be answerable to the Sanhedrin, and if he holds him in contempt he risks the fires of Gehenna.” ( Matt. 5: 21-22 )

“ You have heard the commandment, ‘you shall not commit adultery.’ What I say to you is: Anyone who looks lustfully at a woman has already committed adultery in his thoughts. If your right eye is your trouble, gouge it out and throw it away! Better to lose part of your body than to have it all cast into Gehenna. Again, if your right hand is your trouble, cut it off and throw it away! Better to lose part of your body than to have it all cast into Gehenna.” ( Matt.5: 27-30)

Jesus was more than clear how we are not only to heed the commandments, but how now through Him and in Him we have the means to not only prohibit ourselves from sinful actions against others but even sinful thoughts. Eternal life in Christ is man’s free will cooperating with God’s grace and not resisting it. Beware of the false gospel. Always, union with God is the absence of mortal sin and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

A soul justified in Christ is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is one with Christ and the Father. It is the greatest stupidity to think one can be saved in Christ, in union with God, and be a temple of iniquity! A soul in a state of mortal sin is lost and not saved.

All of us, we must always examine our consciences. And we who are guilty of mortal sin, of falling away from the grace of God, must accept God’s grace to repent and not turn our backs to God, who will not only forgive us, but will come and dwell within us again giving us abundant graces to help us live a better life.

The devil works to convince us that in a defiled temple (a soul filthy with mortal sin) God will dwell. And what has happened is that Christianity, for the most part, shocks the moral feeling of much of the world.

Oh the pretense to Christ! Oh the morbid sense of Jesus and salvation, of right and wrong, of what it is to be saved!

Thus, the heading of much of Christendom for the condemnation continues as many speaking of Jesus in their lives are doing so trying to hide sin with His Blood.

Again and again the truth of it all is to be presented. As it is presented, those men of God who selfishly disobey it and obey wickedness do so to their own demise. As these men of God preach Christ with hard and impenitent hearts what they do is confirm themselves forever in denial of Christ.

There is to be an end to the people of God being plagued by the false gospels of freedom in sin, sensualism, prosperity, secularism, consumerism, psychology, and new age thinking without any truth spoken to the horror of it all. So many endure these false gospels now, that few have not fallen away from a sincere and complete devotion to Christ.

It was for liberty Christ freed us ( Gal. 5:1 ), but not a liberty whereby we can live in sin, give free reign to the flesh ( Gal.:5:13 ). We do not do what our will intends us to do. Sanctified, by the power of God’s grace we do what God wants us to do. Leave the fables!

Be of that segment of God’s people who, by God’s grace, will not be fooled by the skillful verbal mixture of truth and error coming out of the mouths of men of God bent on the deception. Be of that segment who refuse to be taken in by the praise and the success of these Christian leaders.

To the many, many men of God saying, “Love, Love, Love, this is the solution to all problems in life.”, what Christ said is: “If you love me keep my commandments.” Love provided it is combined with Faith and Hope, and self-denial, and obedience to God, to the gospel of Christ, and to the Church, and prayer, and dedication to the duties of one’s vocation, is the solution of all the problems in life. For these are the ingredients of sanctification and salvation.

It is God who calls for the rebuke of the false love being heralded by the fables of death in the modern Christian thinking. If you have a problem with this rebuke, you have a problem with the one who is calling for it. There is to be no more pretending to Christ. Not without there being an awareness to the truth of it all and a warning to the false teachers and prophets and all those choosing to follow after them.

What do many of you in love with what is false think took place in the Garden of Eden? Do you not understand that before the fall there was grace! There was no ignorance; there was no weakness in man. It was with complete clarity of mind and complete control of reason over passion that Adam and Eve sinned, that they failed in the trial of obedience. And what happened? They fell from God’s grace! This act of the will by which they did so was of their own doing. The devil didn’t make them do it. He could not. He tempted them to it but he did not make them choose sin. Nor can the devil make us sin. If we sin, just like Adam and Eve, it is because we failed in our trial of obedience. Even as we had God living in us! We are not without testing. And the choice is always ours.

Always God gives us sufficient grace to combat the devil’s temptations successfully. Our Lord Jesus came to destroy the devil’s works. But Christians can and do choose evil over God and His grace.

If you are among the many professing Christ today who are bragging of their being saved by the Blood of the Jesus while in a sin of disobedience, who with their eyes wide open are saying, “ I have not fallen from grace for then grace would not be grace”, not only must you repent of that sin of disobedience, which does blacken your soul, but also the sin of pride which holds you in darkness before God . If you do not, then this sin , and that which you add to it , will have the gravest of consequences.

The truth about sin is that it is an insult offered to the thrice-holy God, depriving Him of the honor which is His due. God wants due worship! ( Malachi 3:3 ) Sin is the ingratitude of the blackest kind to God who has heaped gifts and favors upon us with an infinitely liberal hand.

What fools you are in the House of God, what utmost stupidity it is that you have, those of you who acknowledge Adam and Eve’s sin and their own guilt as their seed along with its debarring them from heaven, who then do not acknowledge your own grave evil actions that you yourselves have personally committed as not only also debarring you from heaven but condemning you to hell.

Good people sometimes sin gravely. And when they do sin gravely, they are just as lost as those people who have been all along living the vilest. But unlike the evil men who are of a hardening process which has set in, the once good, now fallen, who are truly bent on Christ, feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit and give in to God’s grace which gives them the urge to restore the broken buds of love. And they respond to this grace with heartfelt sorrow of their ruptured relationship with God and of their injury to Him.

With God like a magnet in their lives, just as steel filings fly to the attraction of a magnet, leaving the dirt behind, so the good people gone bad are pulled back again to God, but only after having shaken the dirt of evil from their lives.

In the struggle of good versus evil, you who are choosing to be among the good want your sins forgiven. Those who are choosing to be among the evil want them explained away. Those of you choosing to be among the good recover peace of soul. Those of you choosing to be among the evil have to be satisfied with peace of mind.

With you who are choosing to be among the good, grace is always rising up against your sin and generally triumphs over it with the slightest cooperation of the will. A man refrains from adultery because of the love he has for his wife. This principle of love militates against his carnal desires and, if he falls, pulls him back again to fidelity. So with grace.

Have a right understanding about Jesus and sin, about Jesus and the commandments, about Jesus and salvation, about Jesus and grace.

Delusion and deception are univariably possible. Discernment between a true and a false belief defends on acceptance or rejection of sound doctrine. And in this hour discernment is often based on unsound doctrine.

False teachers and prophets have twisted Romans Chapter 7 . And the twisted view is being promoted by their followers. St. Paul was not saying the perversion being said by so many leaders in Christendom today: That it is alright to adhere to sin while being in Christ. That it is legalism, a curse to believe that you must do what is commanded by God, what is pleasing in His sight. And that obedience to God’s commandments is not proof of your remaining in Christ.

Men may believe and preach what is false, and others may follow after their lead believing their teaching to be true, but it is those who keep the commandments of God who remain in Him and He in them. ( 1 John 3: 24)

St. Paul in Romans Chapter 7 was reflecting on the fact that the Christian has a different understanding of the law because of his faith in Christ. Law binds the living, not the dead. He defends himself against the charge of identifying law with sin. Sin does not exist in law but rather in man, whose sinful inclinations are not overcome by the mere proclamation of the law. He tells us that the man who does not experience the justifying grace of God recognizes a rift between his reasoned desire for the goodness of the law and his actual performance contrary to the law. These two are found to be basically opposed. Unable to free himself from the slavery of sin and the power of death, he can only be rescued from defeat in the conflict by the power of God’s grace working through Jesus Christ.

St. Paul wrote to the pagan Romans: “ My own actions bewilder me; what I do is not what I wish to do, but something I hate. Why then, If what I do is something I have no wish to do, I thereby admit that the law is worthy of all honor.” ( Romans 7:15-16)

The point is this: The law is not responsible for the evil state of mankind, even though mankind’s evil state was exposed when the law was given. The law is holy, just, and good, and therefore the problem stems not from the law but from the sin that dwells in men and women. When presented with a law so good that we affirm it in our intentions, we find that sin still rules us, against the law and against our intentions. We humans are in a truly wretched state. By ourselves, we are so trapped in wrong that we cannot consistently do good even when we want to. Yet we must not yield to sin. The only way to accomplish this is to yield to Christ. The tendency in us towards sin, which leads us not to submit to God’s Law , is only conquered when we are freed from it by the Holy Spirit. By the Holy Spirit we are set free from the law of sin and death and enabled to submit to God’s law. We have the power to live, not in the flesh, but in the spirit. ( Romans 8:2-13) And if we do sin? The regret one has when he sins is an admission that the law of God is right. There are two ways of knowing how good God is. One is never to lose Him; the other is to lose Him and find Him again.

Although God’s law does test the strength of our moral fiber, its primary purpose is that it is an expression of God’s infinite love and wisdom. Give God credit for knowing what is best for us. Do not mock the recipe Jesus gave us for happiness as do so many now.

The Book of Galations has also been twisted by false teachers and prophets. And this false view is also being promoted by men of God today refusing to make a proper resolution of the distinction between law in regard to action and the Gospel, this distinction depending on the avoidance of two opposites, namely, Christianity and secularism. The Christian community is not a legalistic one. This Christ did denounce. However, this is not to say that there is no law to be kept. “ For it is not those who hear the law who are just in the sight of God; it is those who keep it who will be declared just.”( Romans 2:13 ) The demands of the law are even written in the hearts of men. ( Romans 2: 14-16 )

The gospel of Christ as law is not regulation for the sake of regulation, but that law which St. Paul called “spiritual”, “good”, and leading to the doing of what is right. ( Romans 7:14-23) The gospel of Christ as law is the response, freely made by the human person, whereby mankind gives a special obedience, for it is not the law itself we follow blindly, but the Christian’s entire attitude toward the Person and the message of Christ. It is thus that the gospel of Christ is made even more cogent than the law. It is more demanding. Law in this context becomes for man the reveled Word of God to be attained in seeking salvation. The law of the Old Testament has yielded to the New Law of Christ, who is implanted in the hearts of Christians, becoming an interior law more forceful than all external laws!

As a result of Christ’s New Covenant with the Father, the Holy Spirit takes up permanent abode within the baptized. He never abandons this relationship of His own accord. Mortal sin alone forces Him to leave. He bestows on Christians the Father’s free gift of personal salvation, and strengthens them to fulfill God’s laws for the advancement of His kingdom.

Thus, for us Christians moral living is the outcome of God’s free gift of sanctifying grace. We do not earn; rather we have the power to live a morally good life because the grace of Christ has been given us. ( Eph. 2: 8-10 )

The whole law of Christ can be summed up in the one commandment to love one another.( Gal. 5:14) And this law does not rest like a burden but is creative of a whole new relationship between us Christians and our Lord, between mankind and God.

God’s people are to know the truth. And they are to live it, though it remains for every one of us a choice. But today, most are not being given the choice because the voices of truth are not wanted, and because the voices of falsehood are wanted. ( 2 Timothy 4: 3-4 )

We must keep God’s law, His Word. God’s sends me as He does that every knot that men have tied in God’s Word be untied. If this is opposed, none of you who does so will have to answer to me. You will answer to the One who moves me to the task.

I do not worship the commandments. Nor am I led by the commandments. I worship our Father in heaven who made me. I worship Christ Jesus who is our Lord. I worship the Spirit of Truth who instructs me- who does not instruct different than the Father and Christ.

I am led by the Spirit of Truth who is one with our Father and with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

How is it that so many Christians leaders do not know in this hour the condition for our receiving the Holy Spirit? That condition is that we love Jesus and obey the commands He gave us. ( John 14: 15-16 )

Yet there shall be those of you men of God who will go on working to do away with love that is real to the very coming of the Lord. You will do this claiming to be of the Holy Spirit, even as you have heard the rebuke of the Lord.

Woe to every Christian who works against, instead of working for, the turning of the hearts of the fathers and mothers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers and mothers!

“ Honor thy father and thy mother.” These words from God commanding love and respect for parents and obedience to them in all that is not sinful, and to help them when they are in need; and commanding that which God is also speaking of even while He is speaking to the children as He looks over their shoulders at the parents, His commanding the parents to be worthy of the love and respect which the children are required to give, are not to be mocked any longer in this hour.

Because of the great onslaught of the fables on TV many, many, have recognized the road to holiness ( Jesus ) only to turn their backs on the holy law handed on to them by Jesus.

See 2 peter 2 and also 2 Peter 3 and know that Christ will come again in judgment. You are warned. Blessed are those of us He finds holy in our conduct and devotion.

Open your eyes. Open them to what has happened. Babies are being killed. There is abortion! Children born are being misled into evil alternative lifestyles. There is sodomy! There is perversion of God’s sacrament of marriage!

Already the ground work is being laid in many states of our country that their laws prohibiting adoption by homosexual couples be struck down. Oh the death this will bring on the souls of many children! It has already killed the souls of many adults as they gone along with the evil tide. If you do not swim against this tide you are lost. You are swept away from the Jesus you may say you love. Yet many leaders in the body of Christ continue to ignore the rebuke of the Lord. Instead they continue their campaigns for the fables and against God’ law. How will they escape the torments of hell? How will the many following after their lead escape ? It is God who turns up the heat in the waters of His grace!

God is not wanting His prophets to seek to discredit anyone in the ministry of His Gospel. So great is the number of men of God in error whom He blesses and sends to the world. In them all He hopes and prays for is His true love to exist. But it is those of you who act as men of God open to the Holy Spirit who is here for you for all of us, who welcome the Holy Spirit in His renewal, in His refining and purifying, who give to God a pure worship, who God is marking for the kingdom of God. As for those of you who hate the rebuke of the Lord, who call it false, and who are contented to give God a tainted worship, you designate yourselves for eternal damnation, though you are indeed ministers in His name.

Many Christians bragging to have a destiny in the eternal bliss of Christ really have in store for them eternal suffering. Yet God will not abandon them, even to the very end.

It will go hard for God’s witnesses, for God’s own House finds His witnesses tormenting. And the world shall be no more accommodating. Yet, it is God’s will to call all in His House to lamentation and repentance. And His witnesses must fulfill their mission. What they bring to God’s people and to all the world is really a blessing from God, but many see it as a curse. Pray about all this. But pray doing so preparing your soul, and not as men and women who tempt God. See Eccles.18:23 .

We are to dispose our hearts before we enter into converse with God. This we can do by recalling to mind whom we are about to speak, and what we wish to say to Him. When we pray to God it must be with devotion to Him. All to often there is prayer given to God without devotion. See Matt. 15:8-9 . Always we are to pray with humility and reverence. This too is not being done by many of us. The prayer of the self-satisfied Pharisee was rejected but the humble Publican went down to his house justified.

Pray right , be pure in your thoughts, so many in the House of God are so messed up when it comes to prayer, and when it comes to what makes a man good(pure) or evil ( impure).

Before God, human guilt or innocence stems from deliberate human decision, not from any presumed evil in material creation. What comes out of the mouth originates in the mind. ( Matt. 15:17 ) No evil designs are to come from our minds. Murder, adulterous conduct, fornication, sodomy, stealing, false witness, blasphemy are all evil designs. But so is mocking a truth of faith or morals authoritatively proposed by the Church as revealed by God and requiring the belief of the faithful dogma an evil design. So is rejection of God’s rebuke and restoration.

We must pray with faith and confidence having prepared our soul not to tempt God, and with resignation to God’s will.

I ask you to pray, but to pray properly, and with asking God to help you admit to being wrong about those things of which you must repent and for the courage to go with the truth. Few of us are heart-hungry for Christ’s true doctrines. And many of us are heart-hungry to be swept away by the arguments in favor of those defending the doctrines of demons as God’s.

The evil one has and is dazzling many of us with the light from the rings on his fingers. But this false light posing as the true light of Christ is to be reveled for what it is and those who continue to prefer it over God’s light will be dealt with by God.

Everything is to be restored, including the commandments of God. Who says so? God says so!

God’s witnesses do not seek power over any men of God, nor any of the people of God, nor any of the people of the world. This is not to say that Christ does not give the power to teach, to sanctify, and to govern spiritually in His name.

Do not desert God as the great apostasy is made known and the false gospel behind it. This other gospel which so many Christians are liking and advancing, and many are going over to, is far more dangerous and hideous than that false gospel St. Paul refuted which compromised with the practices of Judaism. This one compromises with the practices of a counterfeit spirit, which is the devil himself.

The reason we are initiated into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the reception of the Holy Spirit and not the works of the law. This is true. True also, is that the law is not our guardian, it is the Holy Spirit who is our guardian.

But never does this then mean we are free to live a life of moral irresponsibility, a life of sin. It does not mean as well that we cannot lose our place in heaven. Not only do we lose our inheritance of heaven when we sin mortally, our soul becomes a den of iniquity without the presence of the Holy Spirit- our guardian. Christ did not come to abolish the law and the prophets but to fulfill them. ( Matt. 5: 17-20 ) And, while the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord, the wages of sin is death! ( Romans 6: 23 ) “ the just man lives by faith.” Faith is a gift from God, but one which can be lost. The faith we have from God can die. Faith can be killed. It is killed by grave sin, especially the grave sins which reject Christ such as infidelity, rationalism, heresy, apostasy, schism and doubt. Those of us bearing the name of Christ who are really serious about our salvation in Christ and our personal relationship with Christ, we keep our faith alive.

Sin is a deliberate transgression against the law of God. To sin is to prefer your will over God’s. “None of those who cry out, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of God but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.” ( Matt. 7: 21 )

It is not those of us pretending to Christ who are saved, but those of us who truly have the Father’s saving gift which conquers the power of evil over men, the Gift of His own Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit living in us.

“ Therefore putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man shall be blessed in what he does. If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless.” ( James 1:21-26 )

“Take care, brethren, lest there should be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart, in falling away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end; while it is said, “Today if you hear His voice, provoked Me.” For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient?” ( Hebrews 3: 12-18 )

Let us always pray for each other. Your brother in Christ, Eddie
