Blessed Mother Mary, I love you. I do not show it as I should. I hope to do better in this regard. It is my wish to do so.

Blessed Mother Mary, you are the mother of God and you are my mother given to me by Jesus Christ who is God and who is the One we both depend upon. Jesus wishes you to be honored and in doing so I strengthen my love with Him. As do all who do the same.

Blessed Mother Mary, you told me more than once in my call, “Do what He asks.” Thank you for that. And thank you for all the many things you have done for me in God’s love. I know you have been with me. You always have a mother’s loving concern.

The mother of Jesus, who is our mother, has a place in the work of redemption which is still in progress-the plan of God which He was pleased to decree in Jesus, which has as its end, ” to bring all things in the heavens and on earth into one under Christ’s headship. ( Ephesians 1:10) Just as we have a place also in God’s plan of redemption.

The Blessed Mother Mary’s union with God progressed from daughter of the Father to spouse of the Holy Spirit, to mother of the Son. The new Eve renewed what the old Eve had lost-union with the Holy Trinity.

We too are sons and daughters of the Father. We too can be spouses of the Holy Spirit. We too can be mothers of the Son for her Son one day said: ” Who is my mother? Who are my brothers? Then, extending his hand toward his disciples, he said, “There are my mother and my brothers. Whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is brother and sister and mother to me. ” (Mathew 12: 49-50)

So just what is being said? Our being grounded in Christ is a spiritual relationship with Christ who is God and not the mere fact of Baptism. That which gives us inward fellowship with Jesus is doing the Will of God. This is the essence of holiness. This is what makes us dear to the heart of Christ.

Blessed Mary believed God and obeyed God. In doing so she brought forth on earth the Father’s Son who is the first born of many brethren who are the faithful of God. In our birth and in our development Mary cooperates with a maternal love. It is foolish not to want and acknowledge this love.

Satan does not wish us to be devoted in any way to the Blessed Mother Mary. He sows anxiety and fear over it. We are led by the Devil’s listeners to believe things like: It will diminish from the position of Jesus as our one Lord and Mediator. Satan knows that the more we know and love Mary the mother of Christ who is God , the more we surely will know and love Jesus and understand Him and His mission.

The more we know Jesus and love Jesus, the better we will appreciate His Mother Mary’s place in God’s plan for our redemption. Honoring her does not in anyway diminish the unique mediation of Christ, but rather shows its power. God’s free choice is the reason for the Blessed Mother’s place in the plan for our redemption. She is totally dependent upon on her Son Jesus Christ just as we are.

The Devil has worked hard to discredit our Blessed Mother Mary. He has done this is his process of dividing us.

It is foolishness to collaborate with Satan in his hate for Our Lady full of grace. The victory over heresies and schisms has been reserved by Christ for His Blessed Mother.

Once again a great battle is being fought on the face of the earth between the good angels and the angels of wickedness. The spoils of this battle is man. In light of this keep in mind that Mary, Mother of Christ, is Queen of the Angels of God.

To the serpent God has said,” I will make you enemies of each other; you and the woman, your offspring and her offspring; He will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel.” ( Genesis 3:15)This was the first promise of a Redeemer for fallen mankind. It is the promise of Jesus to be born of Mary who is the second Eve.

Our Lord dying on the cross called His mother “woman”, referring to the woman of Genesis. Whereas Eve failed, and her sin is visited upon us, Mary, the perfect pearl of God’s creation, succeeded, and through Christ, her son, became the Mother of God and the Mother of the believers of Christ her son.

What did Jesus say as He hung on the cross dying for us?” Woman, there is your son.” And in turn what did He then say to the disciple John? ” There is your mother.” ( John 19:26)

Mary, carrying the Savior within her, can be said to have also carried all those whose life was contained in the life of the Savior. All of us who are united to Christ, as the apostle St. Paul said,” are members of His body.” ( Ephesians 5:30) This being so, we then have issued from the womb of Mary like a body joined to its head. Thus, in a spiritual and mystical fashion, we are all children of Mary, and she is mother of us all who are in Christ. Mary, mother of Jesus, is mother of the Church.

Our union with God must be with all three Persons in the one God. And as it is that Mary’s union progressed from daughter of the Father to Spouse of the Holy Spirit, to Mother of the Son, Jesus Christ. Anyone who offends her offends the Hoy Trinity.

To honor the Blessed Mother Mary is to honor God. To dishonor the Blessed Mother Mary is to dishonor God. She is the Queen of Heaven. (Psalm 45:7-10)She is blest among woman and is Mother of the Lord.(Luke 1:42-43) Jesus upholds His mother’s honor, the Queen’s honor.

Attacks upon our Blessed Mother are attacks upon her God and our God, they are upon Her Savior and Son and upon our Savior and Lord.

Your brother who loves Christ above all, and who tells you that to honor Mary who is the Mother of God and of us( we who are the Body of Christ), is to glorify her Son Jesus Christ who desires us to have a loving relationship with her and a confidence in her, Eddie
