Abiding in Christ
Jesus by His death merited for us the indwelling of His own Spirit into our souls. We are temples of God. We carry His Divine Presence within us everywhere we go. That is, if we are free from mortal sin.
We must abide in Christ. If we do not remain in Christ, if we do not have Christ in us, then, as we are estranged, and He cannot save us. To remain in Christ, to have Christ in us, we must act in holiness and not act in sinfulness. (1 John 2:28-29) We must be free from mortal sin.
“The man who remains in Christ does not sin. The man who sins has not seen Christ or known Him.”(1 John 3:6) To continue a life of un-repented mortal sin while confessing Jesus as Lord contradicts the teachings of Christ and it is hypocrisy.
Jesus died for our sins, but His death did not give us license to sin. Jesus is not the Lord of a temple from whose portal comes evil. In the end He will not acknowledge such Christians. (Matthew 7:21-23.)
If we sin gravely, it is a must that we repent. And our sorrow must be a Godly sorrow. Mortal sin defiles the temple of God (our soul). It makes our soul a den of thieves. God cannot dwell in such a soul.
Repentance (a turning from sin to God) allows God to return to our soul. True repentance is the work of God’s mercy. It is our response to the grace of God given to bring us back to Him.
It is another grave sin, that of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, to say you are saved in Christ while you are in a state of mortal sin. It is to commit grave sin on top of the one or more unrepented mortal sins already blackening your soul.
Our abiding in Christ must be real. For it to be real we cannot be involved in anything gravely sinful.
Beware of those men of God who are waterless springs, who preach once saved always saved, who promise a freedom which cannot be. Once you have fled a life of sin, and you are saved by the Blood of Jesus, to then turn back to a life of sin, this is to make your condition before God worse than your first. (2 Peter 2:17-22)
Salvation is a gift from God. While that is true, true also is that it requires an active participation in the grace of the Holy Spirit.
God gives us a share in His Divine Nature as a free gift and yet He expects us to use another gift (free will). We must deliberately choose to know, love and serve Him and prefer Him to ourselves. We must not choose to sin but rather be true to God’s Word. (John 14:21-24)(1John 2:1-6)91John 3:1-10)If we sin God will forgive us. But He must hear our repentance and see our efforts to change.
Salvation must be taken seriously. It is a way of life. Thus, St. Paul warned the Corinthians (2 Cor. 13:1-9) to examine themselves to make sure they were in the faith. He told them to test themselves. We must do the same.
To preach salvation in Christ, dictating to God who is saved and who is not saved, is to stand in your own judgment before God for having given a bad witness to Christ and for having set yourself up as a god.
Nothing is so offensive to God as the contempt of His chosen ones, His rejection by those claiming to abide in Him while grave sin stains their souls.
Know the Father. Follow after Christ. Do not push away the Holy Spirit.
To follow after certain men of God who are apart from God is to be led away from Christ. It is to be taken away from the Truth.
Hear the Holy Spirit. Prayerfully discern what you hear. For there is a counterfeit spirit who speaks as if the Holy Spirit. And there are men of God speaking who are guilty of the special sin of indifference and contempt of the extraordinary graces of God.
You men of God, who love what are fables, who preach that which is false, will any of you men of God giving offense to God ever repent and come to lead right with Christ Jesus? Will any of you come to give up the fables and listen to the truth and preach the truth?
Your moral depravity and false teachings are prevailing in this last hour of the last days. There are many easy victims who you pervert as you pervert the Word of God.
I am anointed of God to give you rebuke. But are there any of you wayward men of God who are able to endure the refining and purifying of the Lord? ( Malachi 3:1-3) What will you do? Will you all act just as Jannes and Jambres who discredited the truth in Moses’ time?( 2 Timothy 3:1-9); (2 Timothy 4:3-5)
How about you, the people of God loving to have your ears tickled by these men of God? Will any of you ever be able to embrace the rebuke of the Lord? Will any of you, who love what these men of God perverting the truth preach, ever come to give up the fables and listen to the truth and live the truth in Christ?
It is a grave sin to preach the acceptance of Jesus as Savior as sufficient to be forever saved. It is a grave sin to believe the lie: ” Once saved always saved.” Our lord Himself assured us that this is not so. See Matthew 7: 21-23.Leave the deception. There is a condition attached to salvation. And that condition is that we do the Father’s Will.
Abominations to God: Idolatry, pride, abortion, birth control, murder, suicide, mercy killing, cloning, prostitution, fornication, adultery, pedophilia, sodomy, same sex marriages, divorce and remarriage(there are exceptions where divorce and remarriage is concerned), rape, incest, pornography, divination, astrology, fortune telling, black magic, witchcraft, spiritism, lying, stealing, looting, fraud, opposition to the truth, pretense to Christ, preaching a false gospel, arrogance, slander, love of power, love of pleasure, love of fame, blasphemy, hypocrisy, perjury, violations of oaths and vows, simony, and sacrileges of all kinds head a long list of abhorrence’s to God being committed by countless many professing Christ and saying they are saved by the Blood of Jesus when they are not.
All that is evil, including other abominations to God such as attacks on the Holy Trinity and Christ in the Mass, as well as attacks upon God such as Atheism, Arianism, Polytheism, Pantheism, Agnosticism and Unitarianism, is to be addressed. Rebuke is in order. Repentance is in order.
A messenger of God, a minister of God, cannot pick and choose what is or is not to be addressed. It is God who says what is to be addressed. And God says it all must be brought to light. He says that all that is against Him is to be addressed. God says that no transgression is to be skirted around.
God is to be taken seriously in His demands. Yet how many in God’s House will take it to heart? The time of God’s mercy is ending and the time of His judgment is near at hand.
Some of you who are on the wrong side of things, who are lost for the moment, will repent of your sins and be forever saved. You will join with God’s people who are bent on abiding in Christ. Blessed are you who recognize the grave sins which are in the House of God and who prepare properly the way of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ again!
God is not without His remnant. We, who are of His remnant, we must be brave in Christ. We must speak the truth as God wills, no matter what comes our way. In us God will have His witnesses in this last hour of the last days.
The Holy Church and the Harlot Church stand side by side in Christendom. Which one are you in? Do you think the bigger to be the better? A majority does not determine this. The majority are living apart from Christ in Christendom.
