Astrology is form of divination based on the theory that the planets and stars influence human affairs. It is wrong to place your trust in astrology or other things which are against belief in divine providence that includes the influence of divine grace and the value of intercessory prayer. One’s trust must be in God.

One who calls himself or herself a Christian and puts his or her faith in divination and other occult practices is in fact choosing Satan over God.

It is a grave offense against God to attribute to the devil a sure knowledge of the contingent future, which, as depending on free will, is known to God alone. Evoking these powers, whether explicitly or even implicitly is considered an appeal to Satan’s aid. And God may permit Satan to make certain things happen so as to confirm one in the evil he or she is doing in placing trust in what they should not. Heed the warning in Leviticus 20:27.

Astrology rejects free will and is condemned.
