Freedom

Every man possesses the responsible choice by which he or she responds to the Creator or turns away from Him. This is free will. You could call it freedom.

But know that freedom lacking a religious dimension, a freedom which does not have God’s grace and makes use of it, is a fallen freedom.

The principle of freedom in the New Testament is the Spirit of the Lord ( 2 Cor. 3:17 ),or Truth ( John 8:32 ), or the Son of God. ( John 8:36 )

All of these signify a freedom which is other than the freedom which is man’s by his nature. This freedom comes from revealed knowledge and from the indwelling Spirit of God as a principle of life, of thought, and of action. This is the freedom which is the radical reality of the new life in Christ- the freedom which is power to conquer sin and the Devil. It is power to do what is right in the eyes of God.

Those of us who live this freedom, we live as free men with this power to love God and our fellow man as we should. We live free but as servants of God. ( 1 Peter 2:16)

God did not speak to us of the false eternal security or freedom so widely preached today. Be with God. Hear His voice. Hear the truth.

Be careful for there are many voices. There are many men of God full of themselves who are unwilling to hear God when what they hear goes against there beliefs and desires and agenda.

These men of God go about deceiving the people of God about many things as they themselves are deceived. ( 2 Timothy 3:13) T

These men of God speak the Word of God but do so as rebels who are proud and arrogant and reckless. They falsify the faith in Jesus Christ with perverted minds.( 2 Timothy 3 :1-9

They are pompous leaders and teachers in the name of Christ who love too much their fables which tickle the ears of God’s people. It sounds good, what they teach and preach. God’s people love to hear it. But it is unsound doctrine which has done great harm to a great many. ( 2 Timothy 4:1-5)

Some speaking falsely are as of yet good men and women but nevertheless they are speaking falsely and they may be joining in with those other voices saying they speak for God who are drowning out the voices of God’s prophets who are called to speak true to God and correct and purify the sons of Levi.

Most of those saying they love God in the three religions who worship the one true God have given into temptations of all kinds. Most have stopped listening to the truth.

A majority of Christendom has wandered off to fables. ( 2 Timothy 4:4) This they have done thinking they can have their cake and eat it too.

Remember what St. Paul declared: ” My brothers, remember that you have been called to live in freedom-but not a freedom that gives free reign to the flesh.” ( Gal. 5: 13)

Believe God over the many preachers and teachers in Christendom speaking falsely. Believe God’s truth over the false gospel they teach. See this false gospel for what it really is which they and their followers are so in love with. The truth in Christ is that the new life in Christ is a freedom to fulfill the righteousness which Jesus made possible. It is power to overcome sin.

Living in a state of sin is not freedom. Dying in a state of sin is eternal imprisonment!

False freedom from justice brings imprisonment by sin and eternal death. Whereas true freedom from sin begets sanctification and eternal life in Christ Jesus.( Romans 6:15-23 ) Be true to God! Be free!

Those of us who have this freedom, we go on with God. We do not give into the devil or the world and to vice.

We know that we are sanctified by the Blood of Jesus, no ordinary blood, and through the power of His grace we know how to conquer temptation, how not to sin, and how we must repent should we sin.

Should we draw back from God by refusing to use His grace not to sin we know that we become defiled and become a prisoner of death- death to the soul. For we were free in Christ. And we knew that freedom. And unless we drown out the voice of the Holy Spirit convicting us and calling us back to that freedom in Christ, we get on our knees to God and ask for forgiveness and strength to overcome our denial of God.

As Christians we have been given more by God to answer for. Therefore we can hurt God more.

How can it not be seen that we are worse in our faltering? Worse than those in the world? Yes! Yet the false teaching goes on and the false gospel has the upper hand with most in Christendom.

How can any man of God not realize that he will be called to the strictest account of all? ( James 3: 1 )

Woe to you men of God who refuse the rebuke of the Lord! Woe to those of you who hold on to arrogance, overconfidence, presumption, on to all the rebelling, and continue to call for the embrace of a false freedom!

You men of God misled and misleading must come to your senses.

Blessed are all men of God who heed the rebuke of the Lord and who grab on with a tight grip to humility, to Christian self-esteem, to fearfulness of disobeying, and to repentance! Blessed are all bearing the name of Christ who do this and not the other! Blessed are the truly free!

Your brother in Christ,

Eddie
